From the objects of this period only a few sketches exist: the product was born from a kind of ready-made, functional assembly operation, from already existing elements.
Hebi is perhaps one of the most celebrate products designed by Isao Hosoe.
“Its history is simple. I discovered that pipe for electric cables was sold in great quantities and at a low price.
I showed it to Valenti and a few hours later the the lamp was born.”
