“To transgress the dominance of the straight line and the 90° angle is something that fascinates me.

I admit that it’s something almost impossible, not only because Descartes has imposed his powerful grid on the modern world, but also because mankind before Descartes already coined a series of words like ‘right and left’, ‘back and front’, ‘above and under’, that strongly conditioned the spatial knowledge of our mind.

The couch serves to lower the body to medium level, in order to liberate the mind. The diagonal transgression of the couch ‘Tak’ improves the level of freedom of use”.
